Music GroupThe Music Group meets every month. Members enjoy two hours of a different music genre every meeting - classics, show tunes, music with a particular theme, songs from a particular decade, etc., together with background information about the composers, performers and songs. We hope to bring you enjoyment, and total immersion in the delights of music which will not only lift your mood and well-being but also facilitate escapism from the trials of life. At our next meeting, which will commence at 10..00am on Tuesday 16th June, we will be playing the "Top of the Pops" from its beginning in 1952 to 1959, featuring Al Martino who was the first singer to reach the "Top of the Hit Parade" with his release of of the song Here in my Heart. We will also be playing "People's Choice" during the second half.
