Walking Group

The Walking Group undertakes easy 5-6 km walks, ending up with lunch at a local pub or cafe.

The walks are designed to be accessible to people of all fitness levels, ensuring that everyone can participate and enjoy the experience.

The social aspect of the walk is just as important as the physical exercise, as it fosters a sense of community and belonging among our group members.

After completing our 5-6 km walk, we gather at a local pub or cafe to refuel and recharge.

Our next walk is on Wednesday, 15th April is a local walk through Deepdene, Balwyn and Canterbury.  We willmeet at the Whitehorse Road entrance to the Anniversary Trail in Deepdene at 10:30am.  This is near the corner of Whitehorse Road and Campbell Road just east of Our Lady of Good Counsel school and church.  If coming by car, there is plenty of unrestricted parking on both sides of Whitehorse Road between the trail and Burke Road.

We will walk south along the Anniversary Trail, and then back through Canterbury, finishing in the Balwyn shopping centre where we will have lunch at a venue to be decided.
