Writing for Pleasure GroupThe Writing for Pleasure Group members share a passion for the written word and cultivate their writing skills in a supportive and inspiring environment. They receive constructive feedback from experienced mentors and delve into the depths of various writing genres. There were two spooky presentations at the writing group. Frank Foley wrote about what it felt like to have someone unseen following behind while walking in the foggy dark. Dieter Markworth told of a room in a castle where a woman had died, and that her ghost appeared at midnight. A brash American didn’t believe it and volunteered to sleep in the room. At midnight, his friends entered the room under a sheet and scared the life out of him, resulting in a blood-curdling scream. Beth wrote about the opportunities she had and the decisions she made when she was about twenty. Owen Clark wrote about the psychology involved in meeting other people. We all agreed we learned something about writing. Come join us.
