After some threat of having no power nothing eventuated, but we still had to move rooms a couple of times. Despite this, it was still a good meeting, with well written offerings and a great sense of camaraderie. Owen Clark’s very poignant poem spoke of the sadness that occurs when the family leaves home. He then reproduced the poem using AI. I preferred the original; others were not so sure. Beth Coote told of the strange experience of finding a strange woman hiding under some canvas in their carport. Nicki Berzkalns continued her story of the kidnapped old lady and how she comes to accept the fact that she would benefit from a carer. Enter Hilary. In Part 53 (see below), Sid dreams of things that happened at Rex and Meg’s wedding while having knee surgery. Frank Foley wrote a thriller about meeting an old female acquaintance in Collins Street and how an attempt is made to shoot him, or her. Unfortunately, we have to wait to the New Year to find out. The time and date of our first meeting for 2026 appear below.
