Writing for Pleasure GroupThe Writing for Pleasure Group members share a passion for the written word and cultivate their writing skills in a supportive and inspiring environment. They receive constructive feedback from experienced mentors and delve into the depths of various writing genres. Five attended our meeting on 16 October and a most enjoyable meeting it was. As usual, the presentations were interesting and well written. Owen Clark explained how an injury can cause both physical and psychological pain to the person wounded and friends. Beth Coote told of the experiences of a country girl moving to the city. Dieter Markworth wrote of his great-uncle Kurt Ungerwitter a WW1 flying Ace and famous test pilot. Nicki Berzkalns continued her story of the kidnapped old lady and her rescue. Technically excellent. In Part 52, Sid and Jean have returned home for Rex and Meg’s wedding and they play parts in it. Our next meeting is on Thursday 20th November in the front meeting room. All are welcome!
