Ukulele Group

Also known as the Balwyn Strummers, the Ukulele Group offers members, partners, and friends the opportunity to learn and play the ukulele in a fun environment. Beginners are most welcome, and instruments are provided for you to try.

If you can't or don't want to play the ukulele, you are very welcome to come and sing along with the Group.

The group also performs at club functions, and at other venues, including a 'Thank You' concert for Yarrbat Place residents for allowing the group to rehearse there.

The Ukulele Group has been active during June. We were invited by the organisers at Balwyn Evergreen to provide music for a sing-along for their members. Twelve songs were selected by the Group, and we spent several meetings rehearsing the songs. Our performance at Evergreen lasted for about an hour, and the music and singing was a great success.
